WESTWOOD, Ohio -- Police say a man who fell asleep while his baby daughter was being abused by older children has been charged.

Timothy Reed of Westwood was arrested Wednesday morning in connection with the incident, which dates back to mid-August, NewsChannel5 sister station WCPO-TV reported.

Police said Reed's daughter, who was 6 weeks old at the time, was injured by the children inside his apartment.

It is not known what type of abuse is alleged or how significant those injuries were.

Reed was booked on a child endangering charge.
