6 Arrested, Accused Of Running Gambling House

Employees Worked At Lucky's Internet Lounge

Six people were arrested Saturday night, accused of operating a gambling house.

They all worked at Lucky's Internet Lounge on Vine Street in Willowick, NewsChannel5 reported.

Police executed a search warrant, removing computers, records and devices associated with illegal gambling, officers said.

Chad W. Price, 33, of Macedonia, was charged with possession of drugs, operating a gambling house, gambling and possession of criminal tools. He faces up to 7.5 years in prison and $5,500 in fines.

Price remained in jail and will be arraigned on Monday.

Scott D. Wheeler, 25, of Willoughby; Christine K. Wheeler, 56, of Willoughby; Hester M. Steiner, 30, of Willowick; Karen A. Wolnik, 57, of Wickliffe; and Amy L. Hanson, age 33, of Wickliffe were charged with operating a gambling house. They were all released on bond pending arraignment in Willoughby Municipal Court on Wednesday.

Police said the business is suspected of being a front for a gambling operation.
