Chocolate Bars Remove Key Ingredients

Mr. Goodbar Really Hershey's

Many chocolate lovers are up in arms these days after learning about changes to some of their favorite chocolate bars, reported consumer reporter John Matarese.

Recent news reports confirm that some classic candy bars no longer taste quite the same.

The only difference between a Mr. Goodbar and a regular Hershey's bar appears to be added peanuts, Matarese reported.

The ingredients listed on a Mr. Goodbar show that it no longer contains cocoa butter, which is a key ingredient in milk chocolate.

The Wall Street Journal and ABC News reported that Hershey is switching from cocoa butter to cheaper vegetable oil on several candy bars.

Mr. Goodbar, Kissables and Take 5 are removing cocoa butter while Hershey's, Reese's peanut butter cuts and Kisses have not changed.
